A historic event took place in South Africa (S.A) this very year (2010). The prestigious and ultimate soccer tournament took place- The Fifa World Cup- This event runs during a course of a month and in S.A it started on the 11 of June with a spectacular opening ceromony and ended on the 11 of July with also a extravegant closing ceromony. I am proud to say that I was part of this momentous event in S.A, from the first goal of the tournament scored by Siphiwe Tshabalala, our dreams dashed by Diago Forlan, our win over France and finally the crowning glory of the Spanish team. In all this i was in the thick of things attending the fan parks with friends and familly; blowing our vuvuzelas until our lips swelled along with our pride of being African and most importantly South African. Im humbled to say that the slogans that drove the official sponsors touched me and i felt that 2010 was made possible by me and the whole of S.A. I am Sinazo Gono and I am 2010
